Northside Hospital School of Echocardiography recently held its third graduation in late July, honoring students who completed the program.
The school offers an accredited, one-year, full-time certificate program that prepares students to become skilled health care professionals specializing in adult cardiac diagnostic procedures. The curriculum combines classroom instruction with hands-on clinical training, with rotations at Northside Hospital Forsyth, Northside Gwinnett and affiliated cardiology practices. Students gain experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and the program — designed for applicants without prior ultrasound experience or credentials — admits up to 10 students each year, beginning each fall.
“I felt privileged and honored to celebrate the graduation of the Northside Hospital School of Echocardiography, Class III, as your commencement speaker,” said Dr. Lalitha Medepalli. “Your dedication, skill and commitment to excellence will truly make a meaningful difference in patient care.”
