Teen/High School Program

The VolunTEEN Program is for high school students ages 16 to 18, who are looking for a rewarding way to spend a portion of their summer. VolunTEENs will spend their days offering kindnesses to patients and their families while also gaining knowledge of the healthcare world.

The program spans eight weeks during June and July. Interested teens must be able to commit to volunteering at least one day a week for four hours, missing no more than one day of the summer commitment.

College Program

How do I volunteer as a college student for Northside Hospital?

We realize students need service hours and experience while they are in college and/or entering school for the medical profession.

Northside wants to help you make that happen. If you commit to at least four hours per week to us, we can help you experience the joy that comes from helping others in a hospital setting through volunteering. We can help record your hours, write references to professors regarding your performance and be an introductory resource into the world of medicine.
